Analyst / AVP, Local Finance and Regulatory Control recruitment

Main Duties

The role is within the Local Finance Regulatory Control team and involves the following:

• The applicant would be the accountant responsible for the legal entities. They will have responsibility for the PL and Balance Sheet of the entities.

• Prepare month end management reporting for the entities involved by the team coverage including trade PL, balance sheet movements, intercompany mismatches, tax entries, accruals and Liquidity reporting.

• The applicant will be required to perform local regulatory reporting, taxations filing (Corp Tax, Direct Tax and Withholding Tax).

• The role requires the applicant to prepare financial statements for legal entities under IFRS.

• Coordinate on-site audit by external auditors

• To continue to improve and encourage a strong controls framework within the team.

Person Requirements

Qualifications /education:

Qualified accountant with experience in statutory audit and reporting. 

Experience required:

More than 3 years post qualification.  Advantage if familiar with futures business. 

Skills and knowledge:

Technical Knowledge

• Good technical understanding of accounting concepts in accordance with IFRS

• Microsoft Excel - Advanced user

• Current on relevant business knowledge.

• Ability to create and maintain well-documented procedure manuals
