Analyst, Biotechnology Private Equity recruitment
The role will be responsible in undertaking origination, evaluation, structuring and execution of private equity and mezzanine capital opportunities. Provide support in the management of existing private equity and mezzanine capital portfolio. Market and screen investment opportunities. Carry out industry and business analysis and financial modelling. Support in the structuring of deals and investment terms. Conduct operational, financial and legal due diligence. Help prepare investment proposals. Assist in the monitoring of investee companies. Assist investee companies (when needed) in operational, financial and other business matters. To succeed in this role you will require the following demonstrable skills and attributes:
- Good degree in Accountancy, Business, Finance and/or Biomedical Science preferred
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience in private equity or corporate finance (MA) from a bulge bracket investment bank with a focus on Biotechnology sector
- MA investment bankers and/or those in private equity investments will be given first priority OR corporate development/internal MA/strategy professionals from the healthcare field
- Able to roll up sleeves and be hands-on in financial modeling
- Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
- Meticulous, committed, team player and able to work under pressure
- Independent and a matured individual
