Job Description Sears Holdings Corporation (SHC) is looking for a Communications Training Specialist (Change Management function) for the marketing operations team. This person will develop and design training programs, work on process improvements, and be a catalyst for driving change. The marketing organization is implementing a new technology (IMPACT) that interfaces with all the business units, marketing, inventory and merchandising. Successful candidate should have experience with: *FrontPage *Captivate *DreamWeaver *PowerPoint Responsibilities/Skills/Experience Requirements Responsibilities: ?Intermediate knowledge and execution of a Change Management process to include, but not limited to: -Applying a structured change management approach and methodology for the people side change caused by projects and change efforts. -Developing a change management approach based on a situational awareness of the details of the change and the groups being impacted by the change. -Identify potential people-side risks and anticipated points of resistance, and develop specific plans to mitigate or address the concerns. -Developing the change management project plans -Establishing and building stakeholder relationships -Coaching leaders who are sponsors to lead change and address and manage resistance -Developing tailored communication and training plans by impacted organization group -Managing business process transition for assigned client group pre-, during, and post deployment ?Develops training for processes and systems ?Maintains training materials ?Supports internal communication development (i.e., Marketing web site) ?Conducts needs or performance analysis to identify the root cause gaps in business performance. Communicate and work with the appropriate functional experts to ensure the development and deployment of appropriate solutions to close gaps (business owner, staffing, communications, training, performance management, knowledge management, processes, procedures, incentives, tools, information) ?Creates and manages a communication plan/work stream for client group throughout the multi-year project ?Facilitates with appropriate stakeholders the requirements, issues, challenges, etc. by having a strong listening and facilitation skills used in working with all levels of the organization, (executive, end-users, subject matter experts, business clients, project teams, etc); will demonstrate proactive development and innovation of business transitions processes and competencies based on continual benchmarking and knowledge sharing ?Will have strong demonstrated tactical communication skills both in writing and delivery such as, creating PowerPoint slides, newsletters, posters, training materials, surveys, intranet communications, etc. Requirements: ?2 ? 4+ years of change management methodology and/or training development ?Bachelor level degree required ?Masters in OD with some experience will be considered ?Intermediate Change Management implementation skills, including Stakeholder Analysis, Communication Planning and Communications Delivery or Intermediate Instructional Design ?Willingness and aptitude to continually learn and grow ?Strong meeting design and facilitation skills. Impeccable integrity, high work standards and strong problem solving skills a must ?Intermediate - Project Management skills ?Intermediate - Listening and Collaborative decision-making ?Beginner Internal Consulting skills ?Sound analytical and creative thinking capabilities ?Excellent oral and written communications Years Experience 2 - 5 Years Experience Preferred Minimum Education Bachelors Level Degree Travel Requirements Limited (5-15%)
