It involves identification of Corporate Action Announcement, allocating the entitlement to the eligible clients and reconciling the General Ledger Breaks and ensuring all the payments and compensations are accurately represented by the agent and credited to the Clients due

Primary Responsibilities

• Candidate will be required to track the corporate action announcements along with other additional systems to identify all positions entitled to participate in upcoming Corporate Events

• Candidate will be required to calculate entitlements based upon the identified positions and update a central pro forma with this data

• Candidate will be required to book all Corporate Action entitlements for the Prime Brokerage business and the Proprietary/Firm Accounts on the Pay date.

• Candidate will be required to receive/send claims to brokers entitled on the Corporate Action Event for Stock Loan/Borrow Fail Tracking.

• Candidate will be required to update the reorganization event in the Corporate Action Calendar.

• Candidate will be required to identify Corporate Action Events to be handled by onshore team and report it to them on daily basis.

• Candidate will be required to match and provide MIS for all the Corporate Action Events processed for the day.

• Managing escalations raised by respective team members and work to resolve the same in individual capacity or through interacting with onshore.

• Spend 80-100% of the time in actual transaction processing.

• Ensure adherence to all cut-off times and quality of processing as maintained in SLA.

• Ensure strict adherence to all internal and external process guidelines including compliance and legal so as to build robust control environment.

• To keep Team Manager and Process Supervisor informed of the exceptional occurrences

Strong analytical skills and ability to multitask

Job Requirements

• Graduates / Post Graduates with minimum one year of experience in Investment Banking Operations with a basic understanding of the securities markets.

• Strong interpersonal / communication skills

• Quick data input skills.

• Proficient in Excel, Word and Lotus Notes.

• Needs to be a self-starter with significant ability to undertake initiatives.

• Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment, prioritize multiple tasks and meet the strict deadlines.

Willingness to work in night shift.
