Analyst / Developer – Reference Data (EDM, Java or C++) recruitment
You will work closely with the business and technical stakeholders to gather system requirements and cover all aspects of the development lifecycle. The work involved in the reference data domain usually entails analysis of data requirements, working with data vendors to ascertain if the data required is available, creating workflows. The reference data team also owns the enterprise wide data formats using which this data is published to downstream applications.
Requirements:
• Strong application development experience gained from financial markets
• Strong programming skills in Java or C++
• Strong knowledge of SQL with experience preferably on Oracle
• Experience with at least one project involving data from vendors like Reuters / Bloomberg
• Excellent problem solving communication skills
• Ability to work in an environment with changing priorities
• Ability to work with clients, development teams, business, senior managers and other team members
• A strong sense of ownership with a passion for development and delivering quality software.
