Analyst, Distressed Debt Private Equity Fund recruitment
Our client is a leading distressed debt private equity fund. They have a significant European presence,and invest in restructurings, turnaround, high yield bonds, insolvent situations and other distressed scenarios. They will take controlling interests in assets and also acquire significant assets or holdings as appropriate.
Thet are now looing to add an Investment Analyst to their team. The analyst will work on the origination and execution of investments for the fund, and be responsible for financial modleling, valuations, analysis, credit research, valuations, preparation of investment cases, management of parts of deals as principal, portfolio management. The team is quite small and so you can expect to have a lot of involvement in all apsects of the deals.
Candidates will probably be at the 3rd year analyst to 2nd year associate in investment banks, consultants with strategy consulting equity firms, or restructurings advisors from the big four accounting firms. You will have an outstanding academic backround. It would be helpful if you have an understanding of how to value a distressed company.
