Analyst- Economic Capital recruitment
This unique and highly professional global financial services organisation has put in place strategic plans for 2012 and as such they have a large pipeline of risk management and analytics projects ready to start.
As such they are looking to engage a Graduate Risk Analyst to deliver on strategic projects as well add value through portfolio analytics. These New projects will be completed through using statistical modelling techniques in the development and/or improvement of new or existing models. The key strategic projects for 2012 will include the development of;
- Economic capital models
- Risk based pricing models
- Scorecard development to underpin policy strategy
This is a fantastic opportunity to get involved in high profile highly visible projects for the organisation. They have further plans within the modeling space and you will have the chance to work with leading consultants in this area to help implement best practice.
Key skill and experience requirements for this position;
- Masters or PHD qualification in Statistics, Mathematics, Commerce or Actuarial
- Experience with economic capital or regulatory models would be desirable
- Strong experience in SAS or SQL (either would be considered)
- Technical experience in statistical modelling
- Excellent communication presentation skills both written and oral
- Strong organizational, analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail
