Main Function
To ensure the accuracy and integrity of revenues generated by the Emerging Markets Credit desk and ensure that the general ledger properly reflects the PL and accruals relating to the products traded. Month-end close process Take ownership of ad-hoc projects
Main Duties
- Responsible for daily PL production attribution. This involves extensive liaison with the trading desk. This role will serve as one of the primary points of contact for the trading desk in relation to all p/l queries.
- Understand the drivers behind the daily PL in relation to market movements.
- Be the point of contact for that business for the front office and in providing information for back office and other interested parties.
- Preparation of end-of-day PL, including daily commentaries.
- Ensure the maintenance of a strong internal control environment
- Assist with wider group initiatives such as systems migrations
- Liaison with other departmental areas (e.g. Front Office, Operations, IT, Financial Control)
- Process and control development, identification of improvements through documentation and analysis of current procedures
Person Requirements
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent
- 1+ years product control experience in a Banking/Finance environment

Strong control awareness
