Analyst – Equity Research
The Capital Strategies department is responsible for several risk mandates within NBIM, including the fund’s large equity holdings across different industries and regions inter alia. Capital Strategies also manages interaction with intermediaries and companies related to the fund’s Equity Capital Market activities including pre IPOs.
Your role will be to analyze investment opportunities within global infrastructure equities. The position is located in London and travel will be required.
Main Responsibilities:
- Gather and synthesise information about potential investment opportunities
- Perform financial analysis, strategic business analysis and detailed industry research
- Build and maintain company financial models and industry databases
- Generate ideas and develop investment cases
- Prepare and deliver investment presentations
- Monitor portfolio companies and industries
Main Qualifications:
- Master’s degree with strong academic records
- 3-5 years of relevant experience from listed equities (specifically infrastructure) as a research analyst or portfolio manager
- Strong Excel modelling skills, excellent analytical and numerical skills
- Ability to summarize complex ideas and communicate them effectively
- Ambition to excel
- High level of integrity and authenticity
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills with working proficiency in written and spoken English
