Our client is a small but highly successful owner managed European equity asset management boutique based in London.
Assets are run on a long only basis using a disciplined buy and hold strategy. The fund manager has excellent performance over a long period and the business is expected to grow. Consequently, the business now seeks to hire a junior investment professional to work alongside and support the lead manager.
The role presents an excellent opportunity for the right individual to learn from and grow with one of the leading managers in the industry and to help shape the business for the future.
To be considered for the role you will need to display many of the following attributes:
- Highly numerate, possibly with an accountancy qualification
- Intellectually curious
- Independent thinker who can form own opinions
- Passion for company analysis, valuation driven
- Ability to focus on macro issues as well as bottom up fundamentals
- Fluent in more than one European language
- Willingness to learn
