Analyst (Finance Reporting & Control) recruitment
General Responsibilities:
- Support the Finance relationship with Group Reporting at all key reporting dates, and maintaining the relationship with key stakeholders within Global Financial Control and Group Finance
- Ensure failures and shortcomings in policies and procedures are reported on identification and resolved.
- Provide support, technical systems training, including support for tools, process and knowledge of Group reporting obligations
- Contribute towards the maintenance and development of an effective financial control environment
Key Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of Accounting Standards, under UK, IFRS and US
- Good Microsoft knowledge, Excel, Word, Outlook and ideally Access .
- Good appreciation of corporate and investment banking businesses - their drivers and inter-dependencies
- good understanding of Finance operations and processes
- Strong Financial controls knowledge and experience
- Strong understanding of Bank's Financial Statements
