Analyst, Global Client Group, US & Canada Institutional recruitment
This position will support the business management and analytics functions for the GCG US/CAN Institutional COO group in New York. The role will be project-based and interactive with other BlackRock groups including Finance, GCG Exec COO and PMG. Candidates should possess strong analytical skills and be able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a desire to excel.
Responsibilities:
Day-to-day support for the COO and team leadership, working in partnership with 2 Directors to execute projects in the following areas:
• Management and financial reporting
• Sales planning and tracking
• Business intelligence and benchmarking
• Marketing and branding initiatives
Skills Qualifications:
• 1-2-3 years of experience in the financial services industry, Institutional focus preferred
• BA/BS required in related field (economics, finance, accounting)
• Strong verbal and written skills to communicate with people at all levels of the organization
• Team player with ability to manage multiple projects and demonstrate an attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
