Main Function
To support the NY Payments Infrastructure function, providing high quality and proactive support to the unit. This will be achieved by:
o Supporting five distinct functions - Finance, MI Analytics, BCM Incident Management, Risk Control and Relationship Supplier Management. o Support and ensure the accurate and timely reporting of Global Payments, NY financial performance and production of high quality and insightful MI o Directly responsible for delivery of actionable Management Information to the Operations management team and key stakeholders. MI should be value adding, timely and facilitate Global Payments, NY in delivering its performance agenda o Support facilitating delivery of all change programmes which impact on Global Payments, NY o Support relationships with internal clients within the Barclays Group to whom Global Payments, NY provides services. Work closely with UK Service Supplier Management in relationship management of Deutsche Bank o Support and Ensure Global Payments, NY manages its external supplier relationships in accordance with all Group policies and standards o Support management in ensuring that Global Payments, NY has a viable business continuity plan that complies with the Group Business Continuity Management (BCM) policy and framework Support management in the monitoring, testing and enforcing all risk, compliance and control related policies
Main Duties
The jobholder is required to do the following activities:
MI/Finance 30 % Competency Level: Intermediate Ø Support and produce monthly financial reports and liaise with GP, UK Finance to ensure consistency of process Ø Responsibility for the production of all Management Information (MI) across Global Payments, NY - MI should be robust, insightful and actionable Ø Support and Co-ordinate delivery of MI to GP, NY Operations managers and UK based MI team in a timely manner (daily, weekly , monthly KPI and MCC packs) Ø Support ad hoc MI requests Change Management 15% Competency Level: Intermediate Ø Support management and work in partnership with the UK based Change Team and Technology to ensure that all key deliverables are met and that GP, NY is ready to accept change Ø Support the coordination and participation in user acceptance testing as required by GPPNY. Business Continuity Management/Tech Support 15% Competency Level: Intermediate Ø Support compliance with all applicable Barclays policies and standards in respect of crisis management and business continuity Ø Ensure all incidents impacting on GP, NY are reported and managed in accordance with the Global Payments framework Relationship Supplier Management 25% Competency Level: Intermediate Support internal clients across the clusters to deliver the required services and facilitate account opening and gathering all documentation as required. Ø Act as a point of escalation for significant issues raised by internal clients and stakeholders Ø Support the management of GP, NY and its external supplier relationship with Deutsche Bank in accordance with all Group policies and standards Risk Control 15 % Competency Level: Advanced Ø Participate in monthly testing and reports to UK based compliance team Ø Participates in and coordinates quarterly assurance testing Ø Participate in the monitoring and enforcing of the Group security and risk reduction policies
Person Requirements
Knowledge and Expertise
Ø Strong financial background and proven experience Ø Track record in delivering to tight deadlines under pressure. Ø Relationship Building - Must be able to work with management up to senior level. Ø Self Motivated Ø Project Management experience preferred Formal accounting or business qualification is preferable.
