Analyst- Investment Banking
Qualitas Property Partners is a real estate principal investment group established in 2008 as an investor and manager of both institutional capital and the firm’s proprietary balance sheet across the property capital structure. Since inception of the firm, Qualitas has been involved in numerous high profile transactions spanning equity, mezzanine debt and senior debt in property development, special situations and opportunistic investments.
The firm operates out of Melbourne Sydney offices and is active across the Eastern Seaboard of Australia with a proven track record in investing its own proprietary capital as well as raising, investing and managing third-party institutional and private capital.
Qualitas is seeking to appoint an analyst to work closely with the group senior executive team comprising of the CEO, CRO and CFO on matters relating to the entire business platform. In particular the position involves:
- Working at an institutional level on capital raising initiatives across the entire business platform including ongoing product creation
- Potential acquisition of synergistic businesses fundamental to the ongoing growth of the platform
- Portfolio management and valuation of the firm’s investment portfolio
- Assist with internal corporate advisory work particularly working with Division Heads to achieve their business plan and strategic vision
- Assist with research based activities
- Assist with the preparation of corporate marketing collateral across the platform
Post graduate qualifications in finance or commerce is highly regarded however not essential, be familiar with capital markets having worked in corporate finance roles. Although Qualitas is a specialist real estate investment firm, we would prefer a candidate with corporate finance experience across multiple industry sectors. It is most likely that the candidate will have worked for at least 3 years within an investment banking, private equity or commercial banking environment.
Strong written skills together with financial modelling proficiency and presentations skills will be highly regarded.
The Analyst will gain significant insight to all aspects of the Qualitas business platform and have exposure at senior levels of the company including the board of the holding company.
