Purpose of Position:
Manage all accounting and finance functions within the assigned business functional area which include budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning. Ensures company accounting procedures conform to generally accepted accounting principles and Danaher accounting policies.

Essential Functions:
·Compile and review to assure accuracy of monthly forecast and explain significant changes from prior months and variances to actual results.
·Assist in building the annual budget for assigned business functional group.
·Partner with assigned functional group management to analyze control costs, ensure planned efficiencies achieved maximum return from investments realized.
·Drive improvements in all aspects of working capital management.
·Perform margin and investment analysis.
·Lead Finance function on Strategic initiatives.
·Enforce Hach and Danaher accounting policies and procedures.
·Drive continuous improvement using DBS tools.
·Conduct testing for Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and SOX.
- Education, Background and Skill Requirements:
- U.S. or International equivalent of Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required
- U.S. or International equivalent of Certified Public Accounting external certification preferred
- Experience in large, multi-national Public Accounting Firm preferred
- Must be able to travel up to 10% if required
Experience (rank ordered)
- 5 to 8 years of progressive finance or accounting experience within manufacturing industry
- Demonstrated track record of delivering results beyond expectations
- Demonstrated ability to be promoted quickly
- Experience in a large, multi-national Public Accounting Firm a plus
- Use of financial reporting tools such as Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Oracle and Hyperion preferred.
