Visit Our Website JOB DESCRIPTION Analyst Business Area: Performance Cost Management Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a clearance Travel: 10% Travel Required (Primarily Domestic) Organized, multi-task capable and detail oriented individual able to work as part of a team that analyzes data in support of the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Installations, Energy and the Environment (OASA IEE). Under guidance of the Senior Analyst, the candidate will execute the analysis of nationwide assessment data, summarize results, develop recommendations for improvements and create final reports to be provided to the Vice Chief of Staff of the Army (VCSA). In the second phase of the assignment, candidates will assist in project design for future iterations of nationwide assessments utilizing their experience in project management, experimental design, measurement system analysis and data analysis.ResponsibilitiesoUnder guidance, analyze the data from the nationwide assessments for the all sites and produce the final reportsoIn conjunction with current project management support, coordinate and help produce the final report to the VCSA of the nationwide assessment dataoProduce recommendations that will improve the QWE for the most people, based on the data provided and your analysisoIntegrate the qualitative data provided by the assessment teams in to the site specific reportsoAssist in the development/execution of the plan to improve the nationwide assessments for the "sustainment" phase. Recommendations will focus on ensuring the assessment, and the assessment data, are technically rigorous, valid, and the process repeatable.oIn conjunction with current project management support, assist in the hand off of data analysis responsibilities to organic Army assets. This will include planning, training and delivery. JOB REQUIREMENTS oDemonstrated experience with large scale data analysis with root cause analysis, including recommendations for improvement. In-depth experience with Pivot tables in Excel. Minimum 2 years experience with data analysis in Excel or Minitab, with the ability to independently create graphs to represent data in multiple ways which are suitable for presentation to senior leadership. Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and oral, with the ability to develop and present formal presentations to senior leadership. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word. Demonstrated ability to work well in teams. Desirables: oExperience with project planning, development and execution oProficiency with Excel. Minitab a plus. Must be proficient with Pivot tables. oStrong verbal and written communication skills oSelf-motivated and able to execute tasks with little oversight oStrong background in data analysis, and an ability to quickly come up to speed with a data set and derive recommendations oProven ability to analyze large sets of data and make recommendations for improvement based on their analysis Desirable Certifications: ASQ LSS BB preferred, but not required.
