Analyst (Korean Speaking) recruitment
lIndustry Analysis: Study an entire industry, assessing current trends in business practices, products, and industry competition. Keep abreast of new regulations or policies that may affect the industry, as well as monitor the economy to determine its effect on earnings.
lMeeting: Obtain information by studying public records and filings by the company, as well as by participating in public conference calls where they can ask direct questions to the management. Additional information can be also received in small group or one-on-one meetings with senior members of management teams.
lCompany Analysis: Analyze input costs, sales, expenses, and tax rates in order to determine a company's value and project future earnings and build Financial Model for designated coverage companies.
lOn the basis of the above mentioned factors, write reports, make presentations and communicate with Portfolio Managers, with recommendations to buy or sell a particular equity and/or sub-sector.
lAnalyze the future prospects of companies that want to be initial public offer.
lCovered industries: Materials (Metals Mining, etc.), Industrials (Construction Engineering, etc.), Utilities
lCovered Locations: China, Hong Kong, South Korea and Taiwan
Requirements
lWith more than 3 years of research experience in the covered industries.
lResearch experience in the covered industries in either China or Korea is preferable.
lResearch experience in the covered industries at either Buy or Sell-side.
lLanguage: English (Fluent) Mandarin (Fluent). Korean preferable.
lMinimum Education ?BA Required, Master (Economics) or MBA is preferable.
lCFA not required but at least candidate level is preferable
