Background
The client is an international Group of Risk Specialists and Employee Benefits Consultants and one of the largest companies of its type in the world. The company forms part of the Investment Solutions Division, delivering a Discretionary Investment Management Services to private clients. Also working closely with the Investment Consulting team to deliver Delegated Strategy Management and default funds to institutional and retail clients as appropriate.
Role
The firm provides performance monitoring, investment strategy and manager selection advice to number of UK and International Pension arrangements. The firm’s Investment Consulting business is growing and they are seeking to recruit an analyst in Leeds.
Responsibilities
- The role will require the candidate to work in conjunction with other members of the team, to support the Investment Consultants in meeting the needs of their clients throughout the full range of investment consulting services.
- Whilst ideally candidates should have an awareness of investment issues, we are primarily looking for someone who has the ability to analyse, understand, formulate and clearly communicate views and ideas.
- The role provides an excellent opportunity to further develop skills and knowledge, build on going relationships with clients and progress within a successful growing business.
- The successful candidate may also be eligible to study for the Chartered Financial Analyst certificate or for the Institute of Actuaries qualification.
Person Specification
- The ideal candidate will also have strong practical knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
