Analyst M&A / Corporate Strategy – Global Media Group recruitment
Endemol is the world's largest independent TV production company. With over 80 companies in 31 countries, Endemol is active in TV production distribution, film and digital media.
The department, reporting into the Group CEO, is responsible for:
• Overseeing all corporate development / MA activities across the Endemol network and divisions, including acquisitions, investments, joint-ventures, start-ups and exits.
• Advising the management board on corporate strategy and operational matters.
• Working with business units heads and regional heads on assessing new markets, countries, opportunities and formulating related strategy.
Responsibilities of position include:
• Company research, investment analysis, valuation and financial modelling.
• Assessing new markets, sectors and related opportunities in amongst others: emerging markets, gaming gambling, content aggregation distribution, sports, digital media and new ventures.
• Preparing investment proposals, board memos and strategy papers.
• Assist in execution of transactions, including performing due diligence, reviewing transaction documentation etc.
• Provide general support to head of department, collating global management reports and coordinating yearly market research exercise.
Skills qualifications:
• 1-3 year of relevant experience, preferably in strategy consulting, investment banking (research or MA), venture capital or similar corporate development role in TMT sector.
• Proven interest in media, internet and entertainment sectors.
• Very strong analytical and communication skills.
• Excellent command of the English language, knowledge of additional languages would be a bonus.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent graduate or post graduate qualification
• Valid UK / EU passport or eligibility to work in the UK and EU long term.
