Analyst – Macroeconomics Research/Strategy, Asian Buy Side recruitment
Role
Working in a lean team, this role acts like the special advisor to the senior management and the work they do will form the strategy of how the firm drives and invest in the global portfolio. You will be part of the team responsible for preparing all the high level macro research such as GDP, interest rates, Emerging markets etc to give the management a flavour of where things are within the economy and what makes sense. These special topics which they will write up and prepare depends on a 2 way communication with the management.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will be an existing analyst, with 1-2 years of research/strategy experience from another financial institution. Ideal profile will be someone currently sitting within an Economics or Equity research team with a focus in Asia. You should possess excellent academic background. Because the role works intensively with senior management, you should also demonstrate a strong personality and great communication skills.
We also welcome junior management consultants from the global consulting houses who are interested to switch to buy side to apply.
Mandarin skillsets will be an advantage.
