Due to an internal promotion, we are currently seeking an experienced Analyst to join our Global Banking Multinationals Team in Melbourne.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Establishing strong relationships with the client's management support team and providing a single point of contact for queries across the portfolio;
- Assisting with marketing opportunities, undertaking appropriate analysis and preparation of credit proposals, presentations and pitches for new products and services;
- Liaising with members of the client service team, ensuring a co-ordinated approach to enhancing the client relationship;
- Undertaking annual reviews and keeping Credit / Risk appraised of developments as they pertain to our clients and industry;
- Attending to a variety of operational and administration tasks across a portfolio of clients from a variety of industries;
- Understand and ensure compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures that apply to the conduct of the business;
- Monitoring income generation and effectively managing the financial reporting and analysis for the client portfolio;
- Undertaking return calculations, both at a transaction and relationship level and assisting with the development and maintenance of individual global client plans.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role you will require:
- A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline;
- At least two years' experience as an Analyst within a similar Corporate or Institutional Banking function;
- A well-developed understanding of risk management and credit mitigants;
- Strong financial analysis skills and the ability to undertake in depth review of industry, competitors, client and products and provide a high quality analysis of credit risk;
- Excellent relationship management and stakeholder management skills, both internal and external;
- The ability to liaise across multiple levels of business and client, with a positive and proactive attitude;
- Knowledge of the spectrum of Institutional Banking products and services would be beneficial.
