Analyst (m/w) – European Real Estate Investment Fund recruitment
Since its inception in 2002, our client has established itself as a leader in creating and managing successful European real estate funds. Their proven skill and leadership in the European institutional real estate investment market has attracted an impressive list of institutional clients, from the US, Europe and the Middle East. Our client currently manages 14 closed-end funds with a combined value of assets under management of circa EUR 7 bn. Due to significant growth, they are now seeking to strengthen its property team in Luxemburg through the appointment of an Analyst (m/f). The small team in its dynamic environment will mean the successful candidate will participate in all aspects of real estate. Your main responsibility will be the analyzing of the existing German portfolio and new potential properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create cash flow models and business plans for existing properties and new real estate investments to determine returns and quantify effects of potential risks
- Reporting responsibility of periodic internal and external asset management reports (banks, budgeting, meeting preparation) and communication with property managers
- The successful candidate will work closely with the real estate asset mangers and provide analytical support
- Reviewing legal documents and contracts
- Other tasks as may be required
Candidate Requirements:
- University degree within Real Estate and/or Finance
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in real estate principal investing, private equity, consulting or MA. Graduates with strong numerical skills and relevant internships or trainee programs are also welcome to apply.
- Excellent analysis and financial modelling skills required
- Knowledge of the German real estate market is preferred
- Excellent communication, presentation and documentation skills required
- A high degree of computer literacy with particular proficiency in MS Excel
- Able to work within a dynamic, international and fast moving environment
- Professional, switched on, hard working, flexible, multitasking
- Fluent German (native speaker preferred) and English, both oral and written
