We currently are seeking a dynamic,strategic,and innovative Analyst, Operation Performance. This key position will be based in our manufacturing operations facility in San Fernando, CA (So. CA).
Position Summary:
Provides analysis of operational and financial performance metrics for the manufacturing, packaging, distribution facilities and some support functions. Periodic financial support to operations management for process analysis and improvement efforts. Provides ongoing financial and operational reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Prepares Operations Scorecard/ Dashboard daily, weekly, monthly as appropriate. Ensures that all departments in operations are completing commentary.
- Performs analysis of operational and financial variances, packages and presents information in a manner to ensure continuous improvement of the supply chain. Information must be clear, meaningful, and actionable.
- Assists in the preparation of monthly Operations Financial Performance Package.
- Assists in the preparation of annual facility and operations support operating plans and quarterly forecasts.
- Performs other analysis as required including analysis of At Risk Inventory, Inventory Reserves, etc.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Requires a four year college or university degree or its equivalent in Accounting or business related field.
Experience:
Requires two to five years experience in manufacturing, cost accounting, or Operations Finance and Analysis in a manufacturing environment. Also experience with ERP systems.
Experience in AS400, Pillar, PeopleSoft E1, and Qlikview is preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Requires:
- Competent knowledge in cost accounting, inventory control, general accounting principles
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Access
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
Physical Requirements:
General office environment, ability to sit for long periods of time. Ability to move about an office.
