About Our Client
Our client is a leading bank in Commodities. There is a need for a well rounded individual to join the team in Physical Commodities
Job Description
Reporting to the Head of Department, you will be responsible for duties relating to Physical Commodities. This will include the following:
- Management of invoices, involving generation, review, release and communication of clients
- Stock release controls into warehouses
- Reconciliation of stock positions on a monthly and quarterly basis
- Contract drafting and issuance following conclusion of commodity deals
- Payment of invoices and third party payments
- Liaising with warehouses and freight forwarders to arrange deliveries to customers
The Successful Applicant
In order to be considered, you must meet the following criteria:
- A Singapore citizen or PR currently residing in Singapore
- At least 1 year of any banking experience in Commodities, specifically in hard commodities
- Good knowledge of hard commodities, specifically in base metals
- Hardworking with the ability to work well with people
- Interns or contract staff who have worked in the operations space in commodities are welcome to apply
Please note that only candidates with banking experience in hard commodities will be considered
