Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Collect, organize, and analyze different types of project and application development data from multiple sources. Examples include:
- Project Execution/Delivery: compare data on amount of work completed against total scope of work
-Project Predictability: examine and report on variances in work estimates, and success in meeting project objectives on time
-Process Efficiency: gather data to identify bottlenecks in the end-to-end development process
-Product Quality: analyze defect trends and statistics, status of project test plans, and code analysis metrics
-Resource Management: report on individual project assignments, and aggregate firm-wide resourcing/capacity reporting
- Provide general administrative support to the Program Management Office.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- A detail-oriented disposition and clear, concise communication skills
- Experience with basic data analysis and reporting (e.g. using Excel and/or simple database queries to extract and analyze data)
- Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint
- Interest in process analysis and optimization
- Past experience with different software development processes is an asset
- Knowledge of Agile software development practices is beneficial

Department
The Moody's Analytics Program Management Office is responsible for driving the development process of our suite of enterprise risk software products solutions, from the initial design through all stages of development and stabilization leading up to the release. Program management also helps coordinate the construction of product roadmaps and works with multiple groups in planning through production and release. The Program Manager serves as the central interface between groups working together on product strategy, design, development, testing and overall quality management.
The Analyst role has a specific focus on collecting, organizing, and analyzing project-related data, and producing presentations and reports which summarize this information.
