Analyst, Private Debt Group – Corporate Finance and Investor Relations recruitment
This individual will be part of a growing team working closely with senior leadership and investment professionals from the PDG in order to provide corporate finance and investor relations support, including financial analysis, market/competitor research, investor communication, strategic MA analysis, presentation support and website management.
The candidate must have strong organizational, interpersonal, quantitative and analytical skills, and must be able to meet deadline requirements. The individual would have the potential opportunity to gain additional responsibilities within Ares over time. The role will report to a Vice President of Ares in Dallas and work closely with team members in Atlanta, Los Angeles and New York.
Responsibilities/Duties
- Interface and develop strong working relationships with all internal subject matter experts (senior management, marketing, operations, legal, compliance and HR)
- Perform financial analysis for PDG’s real estate strategies
- Summarize peer earnings, research reports and provide daily market update
- Interface with company’s investor base, including phone support, investor correspondence and problem resolution
- Assist with evaluation of strategic corporate growth and capital initiatives
- Build client materials and various prospect/marketing materials, updating market and fund specific data within existing materials on a quarterly or ad hoc basis
- Assist in creating responses to questionnaires, due diligence, and ad hoc requests for existing and potential clients
- Provide information and expertise on firm strategies and funds to clients and marketing teams
- Report and manage transactional data to third party providers
- Facilitate data entry and prepare and generate reports utilizing marketing contact database
- Plan investor conferences and coordinate investor meetings
- Assist with drafting company press releases
- Manage process for updating the company’s website

Education/ Experience
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of two years of work experience
- Loan/credit or real estate experience preferred
