Analyst-Programmer Job in Brussels, Brussels Belgium

For a project with the European Commission, we are looking for Analyst-Programmers.

DESCRIPTION OF TASKS

• analysis of user requirements, design and development of applications based on analysis and design documentation
• development and maintenance of an existing codebase of XSLT transformations
• development of electronic forms and evolutive maintenance of existing codebase (user interface design targeting general public)
• development, corrective and evolutive maintenance of all supportive subsystems, including development of LiveCycle workflows, LiveCycle modules, WebLogic J2EE applications and XSLT transformations
• technical delivery assessment and technical testing
• implementation of new system modules, including technical analysis and design
• deployment on non-productive and productive environments
• production of technical documentation
• provision of technical assistance to other team members

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

• Excellent knowledge and proven experience in the following technologies:
• Java/J2EE and JEE development frameworks, XML, XSLT, XPath, Web Services and JavaScript.
• Very good knowledge and proven experience in the RUP processes and documentation.
• Good knowledge of Oracle RDBMS and proven experience in database design.
• Knowledge and willingness to deepen the knowledge in the following technologies: Adobe LiveCycle Server, Adobe LiveCycle Designer, Adobe LiveCycle Workbench is an asset
• Fluency in English is required; knowledge of French is an asset.
• Teamwork spirit and ability to integrate in a multilingual and multicultural environment.
• Experience in user interface design is an asset.
• Experience in web applications design is an asset.

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

• Excellent knowledge of the following technologies: Java/J2EE, XML, XSLT, XLIFF, Web Services, JavaScript.

The tasks will be executed within the Commission's premises (Time and Means).
