Analyst – Real Estate recruitment
SUMMARY:
Our client, Eastdil Secured, a wholly owned subsidiary of Wells Fargo, is a real estate investment banking firm that provides its clients with transactional services focusing on real estate assets and real estate companies. Eastdil Secured serves as an intermediary on behalf of private and public real estate companies, designing strategies and executing transactions on their behalf. Eastdil Secured is seeking an Analyst for its Washington DC office who wishes to pursue a career in real estate.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Financial analysis and underwriting
- Assist in preparation of offering materials and new business presentations
- Gathering and evaluating real estate market data
- Due diligence collection and review
- Provide general analytical support to the deal team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
This position requires understanding of commercial real estate, debt and equity structures, and real estate valuations.
- Must have a B.A. or B.S. degree, preferably in Finance, Business, or a related area, with strong academic credentials.
- The ideal candidate will have 1- 2 years, but not more than 3 years, of commercial real estate experience.
- Relevant real estate internship experience will also be considered.
- Retail sector experience is desirable.
- Should have strong quantitative and qualitative abilities.
- Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills and time management ability.
- Must be detail-oriented, a self-starter, accustomed to fast-paced work environment, and skilled at initiation and follow-up.
- An individual who demonstrates a sense of personal accountability and urgency for achieving results.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Argus a plus.
