Analyst recruitment
A New York-based business and financial advisory firm is looking to hire a second or third year Analyst for their New York City office. The firm’s focus is restructuring and turnaround management. This Analyst will be part of small deal teams when working on engagements and should possess working knowledge of finance and accounting. Day to day responsibilities include, but are not limited to: analyzing companies and their financial and operational performance, performing research on industry and credit market trends, building integrated LBO cash flow models, reviewing / preparing periodic reports, creating written presentations and supporting senior professionals in client meetings. This is an ideal position for someone who is looking to assume a meaningful role in a dynamic environment.
Minimum Requirements:
-Undergraduate degree with superior academic track record
-Minimum of one year prior work experience in business or financial advisory field, with preference given to candidates who have completed an Analyst Training or similar program
-Strong financial modeling and analytical skill set
-Proficiency using Bloomberg, CapitalIQ, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word and MS Outlook
-Willingness to travel for extended periods depending on the assignment
