Design and development of key data and metrics to support the Group’s Recovery and Resolution Plans
Drafting and maintaining supporting spreadsheets, databases and formal written documents such as governance policies and submissions to the regulator
Key roles and responsibilities
Completion of and contribution towards key modules within the programme, initially focusing on Module 2 development and implementation
Analysis of data, including the design, calibration and testing of key metrics that underpin the chosen risk management framework
Assisting in the alignment of the chosen model with existing internal and regulatory practices within the bank
Helping design the target Business as Usual operating structure for specific RRP modules, including drafting of Business Requirement Documents and other procedural documents
Helping to implement the chosen Business as Usual model through liaising with relevant teams such as Group Treasury and Group Market Risk
Attend programme meetings with the regulators where necessary, and assist in the preparation of agendas and supporting papers
Develop strong network of contacts in Group Treasury, Asset and Liability Management and Global Risk Management to help in the delivery of the above
Qualifications and skills
Background in Treasury, Risk or Finance with a strong analytical faculty balanced by clear and concise articulation, both written and verbal
Strong quantitative skills with an analytical mindset
Some exposure to risk, capital and liquidity management, and a grasp of current regulation including Basel II / III would be beneficial
Strong team player with confidence and keen listening skills
Strong learning bias
