Macquarie Securities Group (MSG) encompasses Macquarie's institutional stockbroking, equity derivatives and equity finance activities. MSG utilises its skills in research and risk management to develop equity-based financial solutions and services for clients globally. Providing analysis and market intelligence across key industry sectors, Macquarie Research has one of the largest research teams in the Asia pacific region with the opportunity for a Strategy Analyst to join the franchise now available.
Working in our Strategy team, you will:
- analyse company results, market data and trends and assist with the writing of publications and wider market material
- be a part of the Macro Team which works across strategy, economics and Economic and Environmental Social Governance
- maintain and preparing client marketing presentations
- attend corporate and investment presentations
- representing the group at industry forums and corporate functions as required
You will:
- submit a covering letter and concise resume (as one document)
- hold appropriate qualifications in finance and present with outstanding numerical, problem solving and verbal and written communication skills
- bring proven experience in a strategic or industry reporting capacity gained from within an Equities, Investor Relations, Funds Management, Economic or Consulting environment
- be confident, outgoing and able to build relationships at all levels
- enjoy working in a challenging and market-facing business
