Analyst-VP, Product Control, Global Investment Bank recruitment
There are a number of vacancies across multiple asset classes, at varying levels of seniority (Analyst-VP). You will deal directly with the trading floor; provide daily analysis of profit loss; perform relevant month end close and play a prominent role in process system transformation and improvement projects.
Whether you are an experienced product controller, or a qualified accountant looking to gain a foothold in Investment Banking, there are a multitude of opportunities available.
Duties responsibilities:
- Produce daily PL, PL explain and reconcile to systems
- Month end PL and balance sheet close; prepare and review reconciliations
- Contribute to ongoing process system transformation and improvement projects
- Liaise directly with senior management
- Face off to traders, risk, IT, projects etc…
- Resolve any risk and PL-related issues
Candidate profile:
- Ideally qualified accountant / in possession of accounting knowledge gained within a product control role
- Ideally in possession of investment banking product knowledge (vanilla / flow derivatives) - whether from a product control role or otherwise
- Excellent IT skills with strong Microsoft Excel knowledge (macros, formulae)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
