Analyst Year 1 – Investment Banking recruitment
Due to business growth, an Analyst is required to support the team with the origination and execution of financial transactions including public debt and equity offerings to private placements, mergers and acquisitions, recapitalizations, financial restructurings, exclusive sales and takeover defences.
Responsibilities
Supporting transaction execution projects by providing analysis and research
Running leveraged buyout and recapitalization models
Supporting Meetings with senior managers of prospective client companies to develop new business
Responding to client enquiries, prepare supporting analyses for negotiations
Playing an integral role in driving the transaction process forward, managing information to and from clients and at all times managing client expectations throughout the transaction
Preparing supporting strategic and financial analyses, preparation of pitch documentation and company valuations for Managing Directors' negotiations
Research potential targets, markets and sector trends
Skills and qualifications
Graduate with a 2.1 minimum in a financially related degree or equivalent
Rigorous eye for detail
Strong financial acumen and understanding
Outstanding modelling, analytical and financial skill, must have previous experience
Ability to work autonomously
Excellent communication skills
Good time management and organizational skills
Insightful, reasoned and a self starter
