The opportunity for an Analyst/Associate Analyst to join our Sydney-based team working in the Banks sector is now available.
Working alongside senior sector specialists, your capability in research report writing, equity valuation techniques, modelling and cash flow analysis utilising excel, will be utilised to assist our senior analysts with market-leading commentary and investment recommendations.
You will be exposed to an array of business and client relationship initiatives allowing you to grow your knowledge and understanding of this sector in time.
You will be responsible for:
- utilising and constructing financial models
- the writing of publications and company reports on the sector
- maintaining and preparing client marketing presentations
- attending corporate and investment presentations
- representing the group at industry forums and corporate functions
You will:
- submit a covering letter and concise resume (as one document)
- have 2 - 5 years in a financial, consulting, industry or an economics background
- hold tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, and or CA, CPA, CFA
- bring proven experience in a strategic or market/industry reporting capacity in industry or in a professional services or equities research environment
- be confident, outgoing and able to build relationships at all levels
- be highly numerate with exceptional financial analysis and modelling skills, a strong understanding of valuation techniques is essential
- display excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate ideas succinctly
- present the initiative to help build a quality product and be willing to work the hours to achieve
