Analyst/Associate – Project Finance Infra/Power and NR
Unique and fantastic opportunity on offer for a leading investment bank in New York to join the Natural Resources, Power and Infrastructure Project finance team.

The Role
- You will join a team of 6 professionals in the New York office looking after North American corporate clients
- Travel will be required to pitch for projects and you will be expected to actively be involved in all steps of the project finance process from start to end (more junior team members will be heavily involved in running sensitivities/creating from scratch their own financial models and you will be responsible for coordinating this team, whilst having an emphasis on origination).
- You will be exposed to a wide variety of transactions across various sectors mainly Natural Resources, Power and Infrastructure. Role will be to structure and eventually distribute project and structured finance related transactions covering all relevant geographies.
- You will focus on Origination, Underwriting, Structuring and Execution of project finance deals mainly in Natural Resources, Power and Infrastructure for North America
- You are responsible for marketing and negotiation with over 80 (financial and industrial sponsors) in the US and will be responsible for overseeing juniors writing pitch books, pricing, modeling documentation for deal opportunities and administration
- Help oversee advanced financial models in coordination with clients and technical junior members of staff
The Candidate:
- My client can only hire project finance candidates who already have exposure to NA deals
- Desirable to cover either Natural Resources, Power or Infrastructure
- No language skills required.
- My client can hire a Associate level candidate
- Essential to have substantial experience in project finance lending/ arranging long term financial solutions/ non recourse acquisitions finance or asset based financing
