Role description
• Support the Firm in the due diligence process – for example, preparing investment memos, developing a competitor list, liaising and communicating with consultants, accountants and other service providers.
• Perform quantitative and qualitative valuation analyses – for example, identifying comparables and conducting financial ratio analyses.
• Develop financial models, confirming and verifying assumptions.
• Participate in meetings with potential target companies and prepare company visit notes.
• Conduct primary research on various sub-sectors and new investment ideas.
• Assist in the development of databases of companies in the clean energy sector, running, maintaining and mining large databases, and drawing up company lists.
The person we are looking for:
The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications and attributes:
• Between 1- 5 years’ relevant work experience in private equity/IB.
• Strong analytical skills - knowledge of sophisticated financial analysis and cash flow modeling is essential, highly numerate and mathematically creative.
• A self-starter and a team player, with strong work ethics
• Entrepreneurial and thrives in a start-up environment.
