Analyst/Associate – Trade Commodity Finance
My client a top Asian investment bank, who have a strong name in the trade/commodity finance space, are looking for a couple of junior professionals to join their expanding platform
Role:
- Origination, pricing, structuring and executing of new transactions across the energy trade finance market- oil/jet/ diesel/ crude/ gas/ power/ emissions/ LNG
- Provide support, as a part of deal teams from time to time, on other trade related transactions that are either originated by other team members.
- Term sheet negotiation / review of facility and security documentation
- Involved in all aspects of our TCF business with a particular emphasis on marketing and origination of trade transactions with US clients
- You will be expected to work closely with the Managing Director and head of trade finance to ensure the team works efficiently
- Team works on 80% transactional trade finance and 20% structured trade finance deals
Skills:
- A strong track record in Trade and Commodity Finance gained within a leading commercial or investment bank or top corporate bank
- Excellent, proven client liaison skills
- Good knowledge of US Energy trade finance deals
- Spanish or Portuguese language skills a plus
- My client can only hire and analyst or associate level candidate
- Strong credit skills a plus
