Analyst/Associate- Trade Support- Equity Derivative Operations recruitment
The Company
Our client is Global Investment Bank with a large presence in Asia. Due to expansion plans they are looking for a Middle Office Associate in the Equity Derivatives Operations area.
The Role
Working close with the Equity Derivative traders, you'll be involved with the following responsibilities across a wide product range ie: OTC, options, Structured Derivatives, Swaps etc.
- Reconcile between front office, middle office and back office systems to ensure accurate data capture
- Ensure traders are in compliance with rules and regulations in various local jurisdictions
- Be involved in ad-hoc projects including system implementation and re-engineering
- Assist in the investigation of PL residuals or pricing failures during the End of Day process
- Ensure all transactions are correctly captured in the booking, risk management and other systems
- Provide exceptional client servicing to both internal and external clients
Your Profile
Requirements
- Successful candidate is a degree holder in finance or equivalent
- Minimum 4 + years in Investment Banking Middle Office preferably in the Equity Derivatives business
- Candidates from a product control background will also be considered
- Strong communication skills as you will face off with the front office and other internal clients
- Hong Kong and Asia Market experience
- An appreciation for operational controls
- Fluency in English is a must and Chinese is an advantage
