The Team
Retail Banking Services (RBS) Risk Management designs, develops, implements and continually reviews Decisioning Solutions, Policies and Procedures and provides Operational Risk and Compliance advice to manage Business Risk for the Retail Bank. The Modelling Solutions team is responsible for the development of risk models across all retail products in RBS.
The Role
To develop scorecards and perform other related analysis as requested for RBS Risk. To be accountable for the quality of the scorecards and analysis. To clearly document and communicate findings.
Main Duties
- Work on projects to develop and enhance models for risk decisioning in CBA Retail portfolios. Working with other teams within to ensure models meet business needs.
- Development of SAS programs to extract data from a variety of sources to create datasets for building scorecards, and performing related analysis.
- Sharing project experience within the Modelling Solutions and actively learning from the experience of others.
Experience Required
- Experience of statistical methods / regression analysis preferred (essential for Senior Analyst).
- Experience of programming or working with databases preferred (essential for Senior Analyst) - SAS, SQL or Teradata experience highly regarded.
- Ability to logically work through data and business issues
- Ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely
- Degree in a quantitative subject highly regarded
