Job Description This Analysts/Sr. Data Analyst ? Customer Analytics position is part of the Customer Analytics team working to support targeted and non-targeted marketing offers. The Data Analyst performs disciplined and detailed analysis and reporting of Customer data that enables Sears Holdings Corporation (SHC) to grow, engage, and retain its diverse customer base across all formats. This position provides fact based data driven insights on customer behavior and lifetime value that direct change in the business and drives incremental revenue. The Data Analyst will work closely with his/her manager and other team members to ensure efficient and accurate data pulling and analysis process are followed and the actionable recommendation is provided to the business. Responsibilities/Skills/Experience Requirements Responsibilities: ? Be able to independently program/code or leverage existing code to pull customer performance information from database. ? Be able to draw insights from the data on customer behavior and present actionable business recommendations. Conduct ad hoc reporting and analytics per business partner and loyalty program requests. ? Acquire solid understanding of SHC Marketing businesses and our Rewards Program to drive our culture, focus on the customer, make more money, and improve the business through data driven decision making process. Requirements: ?B.A. or Master in MIS, Computer science, Operation research or related fields with emphasis in programming and quantitative methods. New graduates are welcome to apply. ? Highly proficient in SQL, SAS or other data mining packages; Retail data warehouse experiences a plus. ? Solids team player and ability to work in a diverse team environment with people of varying technical skills ?
