Analytical Chemist Job Description: A multinational manufacturer and marketer of consumer-branded food products exporting over 1600 products to more than 50 countries. is looking for: The Senior Chemist will be responsible for applying trouble shooting and critical analysis skills to technical issues and managing all facets of analytical chemistry from method development through trace analysis. E.g. There is the a green spec in a chili. They would need to figure out what the cause of the imperfection is. They will maintain a USDA FSIS accredited laboratory for the analysis of chlorinated pesticides (CHCs) and polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs). Will also conduct trace level component and non-routine analyses on Hormel products.
