Analytical Chemist (QC)
A pharamceutical company in the San Francisco bay area is looking for Analytical Chemist to join their team. This individual will be responsible for the design and execution of analytical methods as it relates to drug product and drug substance, formulation, in-process controls and routine RD samples. You will assist in designing and reviewing validation studies and draft validation protocols and may coordinate with external CMO/CROs in all aspects of analysis.
Analytical Chemist (QC) Job Requirements:
- Bachelors or Masters degree
- At least 2 years practical laboratory experience with drug substance and drug product analytical method development and quality control
- Expertise in modern HPLC techniques and detection methods
- Fluent in HLPC instrumentation, diagnostic trouble-shooting and routine maintenance, including Agilent 1200, Shimadzu, Dionex, and Waters systems
- Must be able to recognize anomalous results, interpret experimental outcomes, evaluate the quality of data and apply expertise to solving routine analytical and instrumental problems
