The role:
The Retail Pricing team ischarged withdeveloping, executing and monitoring pricing capabilities across the retail banking product suite. Crucial to the continued success of this team, the Analytics Manager, Price Modelling is responsible for leading the pricing and analytics team to scope, develop and implement analytics for the retail bank.
More specifically, you will:
- Lead and mentor a team of 2 analysts
- Drive the development, implementation and refinement of customer and portfolio models (predictive modelling, segmentation, price sensitivity models)
- Provide assistance and advise on the impact of pricing models for business decisions
- Forge strategic relationships with Product and other senior stakeholders by supplying and recommending analytical insights and embedding this into product offer or business processes
- Implement strategies for future pricing initiatives
What will help you succeed?
- People management and leadership experience, with the ability to role-model and embed a high performance team culture
- Strong Actuarial / Quantitative analytical experience
- Experience developing predictive models and interpreting/communicating model output to stakeholders
- Experience extracting and manipulating large data sets (SAS)
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation and communication skills
- Proven stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
- Good knowledge of the financial services industry and how analytics impacts business decisions
