We are currently seeking a Presales Sr. Associate to join Asia Pacific Client Service Team in Shanghai, China.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The MSCI Global Client Service team is composed of experienced financial professionals that provide first tier support for our clients around the world. Currently, the Global Client Service group is present in the following locations: San Francisco, New York, Monterrey, London, Budapest, Manila, Mumbai, Shanghai, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo.
Presales Sr. Associates work closely with sales and consultant teams to help win new business.
RESPONSIBLITIES:
- To support RM product line, including RiskManager and CreditManager
- Help sales/consultants do market research
- Prepare related documents, materials, and presentation
- Help prospect clients load/run portfolio, conduct analysis and prepare report
- Help prospect and trial analytics clients with their product questions
- Assist sales, consultants, and global RFP team in preparing RFP
- Provide client feedback to the Marketing, Product Management, Research and other internal teams
- Collaborate with sales/consultants to identify analytical solutions to meet client needs and boost sales revenue thereby
- Help to field question during the trial period
- Translation of materials into Chinese/English as required
- Work with Client Service and Technical Client Service to transfer knowledge from pre- to post-sales and ensure a smooth client onboarding experience

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of three years’ relevant experience with Master degree, or minimum of five years with Bachelor degree
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in working with global teams.
- Strong analytic, quantitative, and problem solving skills.
- Understanding of international financial institutions and global financial markets.
- Strong servicing mindset.
- MBA, Master Degree and/or CFA preferred.
