ANALYZER TECHNICIAN Job in Houston, Texas US

Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. (NYSE:APD), a Fortune 500 manufacturer of industrial gases and chemicals, is seeking an experienced Analyzer Technician in the Gulf Coast region. This position will be based out of a facility in Texas or Louisiana.

Duties:
-Performs and/or supervises the inspection, repair, calibration and prevention activities associated with a variety of Gas Analyzer and GC systems. Including complex gas sampling systems.
-Providing the necessary technical leadership to continuously improve the regions’ analytical equipment integrity, reliability, and on-stream factor.
-Provide Operational/Technical training to individual plant Operations and Maintenance teams so they are able to be primary analyzer support.

Travel:
Travel Requirements within the Gulf Coast Region is expected to be 70%
Other travel outside the region (including International locations) could be required.

Required Skills:
-Five years experience with Instrumentation/Calibration Analyzer systems.
-Supervisory skills/experience
-Basic computer skills.
-SAP knowledge preferred.

Desired Skills:
-Knowledge of CEM systems
-Associates degree or military training
