Our client is on the lookout for superior Android Application Developers to join our development team Candidates must have experience developing business or enterprise Android applications in a formal software development setting. The ideal candidate will be an experienced application developer that has moved into Android development, and loves turning out state of the art, highly functional, intuitive apps. The Android Application Developer will analyze, design, develop, and test new enterprise solutions.
What it Takes
· Strong knowledge of Android development platform including ADK and versions 2.3.x and above.
· Strong knowledge of Java 1.6 features – Generics, Annotations, etc.
· Strong JSON, Web Services consumption (REST), XML
· Good debugging and problem solving skills.
What You’ll Do
· Develop and support development of Android applications.
· Participates in all phases of the software development life-cycle – requirements, architecture/design, implementation, testing, release, and maintenance.
· Participate in software code reviews to ensure the creation of high-quality, robust code by all team members.
· Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability and general reliability.
