Job Summary:
Coordinates anesthesia coverage with surgery schedule for the following days schedule. Accepts phone calls from surgeon’s offices. Builds and maintains relationships with surgeon and their office. Collects patient information for surgery. Assigns surgery cases to anesthesia providers; MD’s and CRNA’s. Maintains and tracks anesthesia providers call schedule and vacation. Requires constant communication with anesthesia providers via phone, email, and text.
Must be able to touch type, use Word/Excel; exhibit proper telephone etiquette; demonstrate strong skills in relationship building, communication, negotiation and problem solving; creativity, flexibility, and innovation in adapting services to both surgeon and patient needs will be essential.
Experience: No surgical/anesthesia experience required. Training will be done on the job.
