Anlaytics – Performance Management – AVP / VP recruitment
Main Responsibility.
-Review and report on monthly client revenue performance including ensuring the delivery of performance management reports to the senior management.
-Assist the Head of Finance / Senior Manager in interactions with the senior management and other stakeholders of Business – Product control , Financial control , MIS including reports generation, trend, variance and ad-hoc analysis
-Continue to improve / evolve the MI and KPIs used by the business globally to ensure they continue to be relevant and effective tools for managing performance.
-Continue to improve the effectiveness of the reporting process including data quality and timeliness (including ad hoc investigations of monthly performance numbers where required)
-Coordinate and participate in implementation of accounting and financial control policies that will affect the reporting.
Product Performance Management:
-Monitor and report on global Products / Finance performance including analysing Revenue, Asset and RWA trends
-Manage Budget and Forecasting
-Understand the drivers and provide value added analysis to the business to achieve its objectives
Cost Management and Reporting:
-Monitor and report on global costs including analysing cost trends and drivers and assist business in cost management from the forecasting and control point of view.
Budget process:
-Work with the various businesses and segments to develop a budget for client revenues, direct cost and investment spend that reflect the overall business strategy
Other:
-Ad hoc investigations and reporting including resolution of issues as and when they arise, this will often require co-ordination across geographies
-Preparation of ad hoc reports and presentations as and when required
-Build a level of competence in performance measurement and modelling within the Business global reporting team to provide consultation to the global and regional business partners to identify key trends, opportunities and perceived risks, reviewing impact to forecasted earnings
-Maintain high integrity and quality in the service provided to the business partners at group and country levels
Qualifications Skills
- Bachelor Degree with 8+ years’ experience in business analysis and support gained in a financial institution
- Sound financial analytical skills and technical knowledge of (accounting for) Products. Rates / Equities / Credit
- CA/CPA or equivalent preferred
- Experience with Balance Sheet and Capital Management and Controls and Governance in a banking environment are a plus
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to liaise effectively with key internal stakeholders across various levels in the organization
- Flexible, ability to prioritize, show strong attention to detail, work to tight timeframes and manage multiple deliverables
- Have a hands-on approach to deliverables with good knowledge of MS-Excel
