Anti-Money Laundering Reviews Manager
Our client, a Global financial institution is looking for an Anti-Money Laundering Monitoring Manager to join their compliance department. The individual would help provide support, guidance and advice to the business and senior management to develop and maintain regulatory standards to enhance and protect the reputation of the firm.
Duties Include:
· Support compliance assurance team in AML sanctions assurance reviews.
· Support the compliance assurance team in identifying adverse trends, poor controls and systemic risks.
· Implement AML monitoring standards to ensure that compliance department is delivering effective, accurate and consistent oversight of AML controls sanctions risk.
· Assist with the enhancement of AML assurance models to provide effective assurance on AML and sanctions risks and provide advice, support and training as required.
· Assist in the production of the Annual AML Report for Senior Management
· Conduct training of firm’s staff to ensure continuing competence in accordance with required regulatory standards
· Help to ensure that appropriate systems and controls are in place regarding the sanctions notices.
· Provide detailed oversight, advice and guidance on any significant specific AML risk issues that may arise across various business operations.
· Guide assurance teams within group compliance teams on AML assurance matters and help promote the development and effectiveness of the regional/country/global business assurance team activity.
The successful candidate will ideally have an investment banking, wholesale banking or private banking background with experience in a compliance/AML reviews or monitoring. You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and demonstrate the ability to deal with Senior Management in the UK and Abroad.
