Responsible for providing system administration and database administration functions for the Combined Air and Space Operations Center (CAOC) at Nellis AFB, NV. Responsible for day-to-day installation, configuration and maintenance on the multi-platform/multi-OS Air and Space Operations Center (AOC) Weapon System to include the Theater Battle Management Core System (TBMCS), Joint Automated Deep Operation Coordination System (JADOCS), Global Command and Control System (GCCS) Components, InfoWorkSpace (IWS), and other AOC Block 10+ systems. Setup and manage user accounts and add system peripherals. Troubleshoot and diagnose system and software problems. Create database accounts, maintain database security, and execute proper database backup and recovery procedures. Administer the software components of the local and wide area networks and monitor system performance. Assist in controlling the activities related to planning and development of the Windows 2000/2003 and Unix Enterprise Servers. Assist with developing and maintaining system policies and procedures pertaining to database management, security, virus protection, user accounts, maintenance and utilization. Assist with the integration of Air Support Operations Center (ASOC) Systems and Army Battle Command Systems (ABCS) that includes: AFATDS, ASAS, TAIS, AMDWS and GCCS-A.
